Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) is a giant statue created by a famous Balinese sculptor, Nyoman Nuarta. This statue is in the form of Batara Vishnu who rides the legendary animal garuda as a symbol of Amerta, eternal virtue.
The statue is made of 4,000 tons of copper and brass and stand 150 meters high with an eagle’s wingspan of 64 meters. GWK will be the largest statue in the world.
After ward visiting a beautiful Uluwatu temple on the southern of the island where you will find a temple balance on the cliff’s edge with drop of 250 ft.. It is the best place to see beautiful sunset while Watching Kecak & Fire Dance. In the dance the moving and swaying of bodies are interwoven with sound of nature in an orchestration of voice which puts the dancer in the trance. Sea food dinner will be provided on the beach side of Jimbaran Bay.
